Pagosa Springs, Colorado
Pagosa Springs is located in the Four Corners area of southwest Colorado, about 25 miles north of the New Mexico border, and 50 miles east of Durango, Colorado. It sits in a large valley, surrounded by the San Juan Mountains, and is only 30 miles from Wolf Creek Pass, atop the Continental Divide. Ideally located for outdoors enthusiasts, Pagosa is near the San Juan National Forest, Weminuche Wilderness, San Juan River, Navajo Lake State Park, Mesa Verde, Sand Dunes National Monument, and many other natural wonders, all waiting to be explored.
Blessed with relatively mild winters and moderate summers, Pagosa is well situated for those who enjoy a four season climate. Severe winter storms are rare, although an annual snowfall can approach a total of 6 feet or more. Wolf Creek Pass can get well over 400 inches of snow each year, which is great for skiers!
